Frame Refresh Service Policy

Please inspect your frames before placing the order to ensure that they are free of following defects. If you are unsure, you can email us some photos of the frame at Care@LensRefresh.co and we will promptly let you know if they can be reglazed.

  • Lenses: Should not be glued to the frame. This makes the old frame unusable for reglazing.
  • Rimmed Plastic Frames: Should be free of tiny cracks around the rim and may not be brittle. Such frames can easily break during reglazing.
  • Rimmed Metal Frames: Screw holes should be undamaged and free of tiny cracks. Such screw holes can crack and render the frame unusable for reglazing.
  • Semi-Rimless Frames: If you see time gaps/holes in corners between lenses and frame, new lenses will also have these gaps/holes as we trace the old lenses for the shape. At least one lens should be undamaged for us to trace the shape.
  • Rimless Frames: Frame pins or screws/nuts should not be glued to the lenses as they may break during lens removal. At least one lens should be undamaged for us to trace the shape.

Important:

  • Old frames are brittle and have micro cracks on the rims. They are more susceptible to damage during the reglazing process. While we take utmost care, we cannot accept responsibility for damage, breakage, color or appearance changes to your frame during processing.
  • It is common for old lenses to break during the reglazing process especially if they have been glued to the frame. We do not assume responsibility for this breakage. For safety reasons, old broken lenses will be discarded.
  • If you need your old lenses back, please mention that in your order. Otherwise, they will be discarded.
